🍕 We’re Open!

Penso’s Pizza officially reopened Wednesday after our quick remodel, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back. Stop in and check out the refreshed space while enjoying your favorite pizza.

We’ll still be adding a few finishing touches early next week, but the ovens are hot and we’re open for business.

As we celebrate our 90th year, we also added a few historic photos and items from the past to the dining area — see if you recognize any familiar faces or memories.

Thanks again for your patience during the remodel. We’re happy to be back serving the community!

Demo officially started yesterday and things are starting to look a little different around here. It’s always a little messy before the final look but we’re excited for what’s ahead.

Reminder! Today is our last day before the construction starts and we will not be reopening until Wednesday, March 4th.

As part of our 90th Anniversary celebration, we’ll be closing for one week starting tomorrow to give our shop a refreshed interior.

New lighting, flooring, counter, booths, new finishes, a warmer vintage feel but the same old-school pizza.

We truly appreciate your patience and support and can’t wait to welcome you back to a space that honors our past while setting us up for the future. 🍕❤️

We have some exciting news! A new interior look is coming soon to Penso's Pizza in Dover.

We are open 4p-9p Wednesday and Thursday. 4p-10p on Friday and Saturday. 4p-9p on SuperBowl Sunday.

We’re honored and grateful.

Penso’s Pizza has been inducted into the PMQ Pizza Magazine Pizza Hall of Fame, featured in the January/February issue of PMQ Pizza.

What started in 1936 as free pizza samples on a bar in Dover has grown into 90 years of family, tradition, and community—and none of it would be possible without you.

This recognition is especially meaningful as we celebrate our 90th anniversary in 2026, and we’re proud to share this milestone with everyone who has supported us across generations.
