Our last Saturday here, my last Saturday on this grill. It's been a heck of a week, I cant tell you all how much mom and I appreciate seeing everyone who came in to see us! So let's end it with a heck of a day!
We have breakfast until 10:30 then lunch from 10:30-2
Our lunch special is Mom's Famous Chicken Noodles over mashed potatoes!

120 Doughs I made, and we are SOLD OUT bye 1p.m.
We can't thank yall enough.

I was always told that if you find something you love it's not work, haha well lemme tell you I truly love what I do here from 6a.m to 10p.m. working 80+ hrs a week. Making these doughs and pizzas has really turned into a passion that I really do enjoy and tonight might be my last pizza night here but not my last time making these type of pizza's for you all.

Thank you to all our wonderful customers, yall are amazing people, and we have been blessed by your support.

Tonight we have our second to last home pizza night, last week we sold out in 2hrs with 80 pizzas, 30 orders of wings, all our bush lights and michelob ultra. With it being one of our last nights we made 100! We have orders for carry out and dine in already coming in, so call today 785-256-6223

Hello to all of our Sommerset followers and friends,

We want to share that after careful consideration, we have made a decision to sell the Sommerset Cafe. If you have gotten to know us, you know this decision has been very difficult for us, but we know that at this time, it is the right one.

We have loved getting to know our many customers and building new relationships with the people of the community that we can now call friends. We cannot thank you all enough for the support we have gotten and giving us another understanding of what "Community" really means. Thank you

Angela will be staying on as the pie-baker, as will the rest of the staff in their usual capacities.

The last day that Sommerset Cafe will be open under current management will be Saturday, Feb. 26th. So please join us for some of our last days with you (2 more Thursday pizza nights and 2 more Friday nights)

We will have one more post informing you of new ownership.

Thanks to new ownership, now Sommerset Cafe will be able to keep its doors open and continue to serve the community, as it has for so many years and through many different owners. Please give them your continued support.

Who knew today was national pizza day?! Well we didn't know until a few hrs ago, So Join us today as we celebrate National Pizza Day! It’s hard to imagine that before World War II, pizza was little known outside of Italy or Italian immigrant communities. This cheesy disc went from a niche cultural meal to the star of the show anywhere it turns up! Let’s hear it for pizza!
We started Tuesday with 82 pizza doughs and currently have 66 left for the evening. Let's see if we can sell out on pizza day! Call to reserve doughs for dine in or get it to go - 785-256-6223 Remember we have all hand made and hand cut ingredients as well as local beef from Echo Cliff Cattle Co.!
