Dover AFB Patterson Dining Facility The Patterson Dining Facility is a cafeteria that caters to military members, families, and retirees. Patterson, Nov. 28, 1930 - April 30, 1973.

Patterson Dining Facility was renamed in memory of MSgt Cecil T. MSgt Patterson was born and raised in Gilpin, Kentucky. He was the Active duty superintendent of food service when he died at the age of 42 leaving behind a wife and 5 children ages 19 thru 8. He was instrumental in showing the need for a new and updated dining facility. Summer of 1977, the new facility was dedicated and named in mem

ory of MSgt Patterson, with his family all present. MSgt Patterson’s wife passed away in 2011. His children all currently reside in Delaware. Thanks to his proud daughter, Debbie Patterson Billings, for the information!
