I saw a post recently reminding everyone to support your local businesses that resonated with me. It talked about how losing these 2 days of business can really do damage to a mom and pop. But what you need to understand is that it isnt just the two days of the finicky “not really that bad” weather that is doing the damage. It’s that January is already a slow month for most. And yeah, because of this weather small businesses are facing even more issues.
While some employees may live in town, some live where the weather is in fact bad. Or some have younger staff that may be nervous for them to get out anyway.
All of this to say: remember, a lot goes into the decision for any of us to close. So with that I encourage you to shop local when everyone does re-open. It matters and it’s not as smooth running as an average day (so be kind!).
I know it’s easy to hit a drive thru or use Amazon. I know everyone is recovering still from December. But if you are in the position to make a choice, please choose to support local
And with that said…
Our doors are open! Come enjoy a nice warm chicken tortilla soup or a couple of tacos de asada, sizzling fajitas & a marg to wash it down!
Thank you for your continued support!
