In 1950, Buford Hudson went to work at Old Hickory Barbecue in Atlanta, Georgia where he learned all the in's and out's of the barbecue business. We laughed way too hard at the beginning of this one... 😂

Lauren said she was a little nervous to post about Hudson's because she knows "Hudson's fans are ride or die." Honestly... she's not wrong. ❤️

We loved hearing that her husband grew up coming to Hudson's, seeing her girls enjoy those giant kids' meals, and hearing what she thought about the BBQ Pork Salad (apparently the pickles were the perfect finishing touch 😉).

Today we're slowing things down, spending time with our families, and taking a little break after another busy season. Thank you for letting us be part of your family traditions for generations. It means more to us than you know.

We'll be back Monday, July 13th... and let's just say we've been working on a few things while we're away. 👀

You might notice a new look in part of the restaurant, and we've got another exciting convenience coming that we've been looking forward to sharing for a long time.
