Das ist alles my friends! I am sorry, but last night was the last night the Doss Store & Country Kitchen will be open. I have run out of food. Thank everybody for all their support over the last couple years. It will all be missed. Thank you again!

It is with sadness that I share the Doss Store & Country Kitchen will be closing its doors permanently on September 6. I would like to sincerely Thank the wonderful community of Doss and the Doss Volunteer Fire Department for all the support and kindness you have shown me throughout this restaurant venture.

Due to a small “snafu” we will not be opening tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27th. So very sorry for the inconvenience.

We will be back to CRAB LEGS, STEAKS & Cold Beverages 🍻 and everything else you’ve grown love on the menu on THURSDAY, August 28th.

Hours 11am - 9pm w Crab Legs starting at 5:00 pm.

🚨 Disaster Relief Drop-Off Starting Today 🚨
****accepting donations today from 11 to 8 PM and tomorrow from 10 to 2 PM

In response to the recent flooding across the Hill Country, Doss Store and Country kitchen is collecting donations to support affected families, children, and first responders.

We will donate all items to the Kroc Center in Kerrville, the main distribution center for relief efforts. They are in need of just about everything, including:

🧼 Cleaning supplies
🧻 Paper towels
🛏 Blankets & towels
👕 Women’s, men’s & children’s clothing
🧸 Stuffed animals
💧 Bottled water
🥫 Non-perishable food
🐕 Pet food & supplies

🚪 You may begin dropping items off on the front porch this morning. We’ll be on-site by 11:00 AM to begin collecting and sorting.

💡 Please bring items in good condition and, if possible, sort donations by type or size to help us streamline distribution.

👐We are also in need of volunteers to help sort these donations! If you are able to assist we are extremely grateful, all hands on deck!
