We’re thrilled to announce that Mom’s Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner is gearing up for our official GRAND OPENING on Tuesday, November 19th at 7 AM! 🥞🍳

We can’t wait to serve up the breakfast you’ve come to know and love, and we’re even more excited to showcase our new dinner menu — a perfected collection featuring some of your all-time favorites from the cherished Galena Steak House! 🍽️❤️

I’m thrilled to announce that we’re moving to Dixon with a fully revamped restaurant that will showcase the best of both worlds—delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options inspired by the flavors of Mom's Diner and Galena Steak House. We can’t wait to serve you in our new home!

As we prepare to close the doors on our cherished restaurant in Sterling after nearly 10 amazing years, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our incredible employees and loyal customers. Your support has made this journey unforgettable!

Mark your calendars: Sunday, November 3rd, will be our last day of business at our current address. We invite you all to join us for one final celebration! Let’s make it a day to remember as we say goodbye to this chapter.

Dear friends and loyal patrons,

After 23 incredible years of serving you, it's with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our beloved restaurant after September 29th. Our owner, Bear Qulafi, affectionately known as Danny, is stepping into retirement. While he is sad to say goodbye, he's excited about what the future holds.

Danny and all six of his kids have poured their hearts and souls into this establishment, creating not just meals, but memories for generations of families in our community. As he reflects on the journey, he's filled with gratitude for every laugh, every celebration, and every story shared at our tables.

We're thrilled to share that Danny's eldest daughter Mudae and her husband Hani will be taking over the restaurant! Many of you know of the couple from their wonderful work at Mom's Diner in Sterling. They plan to breathe new life into the space, with renovations that will bring in more natural light, cozy new booths, and a fresh menu that combines some of your Galena Steak House favorites with Mom’s own delicious creations.

Stay tuned for new hours, new dishes, and a revitalized dining experience that honors our past while looking forward to a bright future!

Join us for one last meal before we close our doors, and let's celebrate the memories we've made together. Thank you for being a part of our family. We can't wait to welcome you back to this new chapter!
