- Doors will open at 12 but the bidding will start at 2 p.m.

To say we went out with a bang is an understatement! We couldn’t be more grateful to our amazing staff and community.

Because of all of you, we took home first place for Best Restaurant in Dillon and best BBQ along with a long list of other wins including being in a finalist for both Best Restaurant in Summit County and Best Service.

We couldn't have done it without this crew of past and present staff and our faithful leaders Bonnie, Doug, Julie, and Noah.

All we can say is THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone who came to say goodbye yesterday and over the past month.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and eaten with us all these years.

Thank you to every staff member, you've been our family and we will never forget you!

And thank you to every food/liquor supplier, vendor, and partner we’ve had over the years.

We couldn’t have done it without every one of you!

Today is our final day, and it is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to all of you and this place that has created so many memories over the last 22 years.

The Arapahoe Cafe is more than just a place - every visitor, every staff member, and our family and friends who have supported us near and far, have helped to shape this home away from home, full of laughter, joy, and of course, good food.

Come share a meal and shed a tear with us today!

The cafe dubbed "A Cafe" isn't closing because they don't have the business to stay open. The land owner told the cafe owner that they won't be able to rent there any longer. Now they're exploring options to move the cafe or build a replica.

We will be closed Tuesday nights from here on out.

Thank you so much for the unending support this past week. We’re flattered at the impact we’ve made on so many lives.

Please know you have also impacted our lives deeply. We wouldn't be where we are today without each and every one of you!

Even though the future of our business is uncertain, we are grateful for 20+ years in Dillon with our amazing community.

As many of you know, our lease is coming to an end. Please refrain from reaching out to the business owner about our lease. We care about the future of Dillon and encourage you to make your voice heard about the developments of this town we all love so much.

It is with a very heavy heart that we are making this announcement.

During this very troubled development process, we have asked numerous questions and received no answers. This has been a very unfortunate time for our employees and us. The future looks pretty uncertain for us all, as all we know is what we read in the newspaper and what we hear in the street. As a result of this uncertainty, we have decided to close our doors at the end of business on 10/15/23.

This is the fair thing to do as it allows our employees time to secure future employment and for us not to be blindsided by the development process. (It also allows you to get your last licks and kicks at the cafe.) . We have had an incredible run here at the cafe, and we very much appreciate all of your years of support and loyalty.

We will miss you all very much and will also miss our faithful, hard-working staff.

This has been a very, very hard decision for us to make, but we feel it is the best for us all.

Once again, thank you for all you have meant to us and for all of the relationships we have developed over the last 20-something years. Stay tuned for more updates.
