This photo hangs on the wall in my home. It was taken in 2004. I was 22. I am going to be 45 next month. 🤯 When Francis, my dad and I started AV we did it to use our talents and chase our dreams wherever they were going to take us. It’s been quite a ride! Carmalt has been closed for the last few months because our focus and energy and passion are at Warney Cellar and Tap currently. That is where the dream has led us right now. We still lease the space in Dickson City and are using the kitchen for projects like homemade pasta, for Warney. It is our intention and our hope to have an update later this year on plans for Carmalt’s next phase. If you have outstanding gift cards, please hold on to them.
Last year, when we were preparing to get The Warney off the ground, many people asked me if Carmalt would still be here and how would I do both? My answers at that time were Yes! and I don’t know 😂. So it’s turns out that being 45 and not 22 means I CAN’T actually do it all . Thank you for remaining loyal friends and customers ❤️
