As we enter the last two weeks of Sushi Koyo - what is your favorite memory about visiting our restaurant? It's at times like this that reminiscing about wonderful meals shared with great people can really put things in perspective.

The response from all of you has been overwhelming. To see how big our Sushi Koyo family has grown and how much each of you care is remarkable. We are looking forward to seeing you all over the next three weeks (Remember August 28th is our last night!).

Some of you may have heard the news. After thirty-two years of bringing the freshest, authentic Japanese sushi to our customers in Diamond Bar, Hiro-san and Utako-san will be retiring at the end of August.

We want to thank each of you that have become a part of the Sushi Koyo family. We have eaten meals together; we have taken trips to Japan together; we have shared laughs and tears and grown up (and a little older) together and through it all your support of our restaurant and family has meant more than we can put into words. August 28th will be our last night. We hope to see you before the end of the month for one more blue crab handroll, one more deluxe special at lunch or one more serving of butter-fish. There will be a new restaurant opening in mid-September in our space and we sincerely wish the new owners continued success.

To each and every one of our customers - truly thank you again and we hope to see you before August 28th!
