The Detroit Club was founded in 1882 by attorney Samuel T. The Club continues to serve as a rendezvous point for the business and civic elite of Detroit. The Detroit Club houses a newly renovated restaurant, private event spaces, luxury estate rooms, and private spa. The relocation of the club took place in 1891 to the iconic, Wilson Eyre, Romanesque Revival, building situated at the corner of Cas

s Avenue and Fort Street in Detroit's Financial District. Former members and guests of the club include: Franklin Roosevelt, Charles Lindbergh, John D. Rockefeller, Russell A. Alger, Henry Ford II, and Lee Iacocca.
