Tonight is the night! The cocktail tasting is from 6pm-8pm and requires a ticket (link in bio), but the main room will also be open for regular dining service. Industry Night starts immediately after at 8pm, no cover! Get ready for good music, and pizza + drink specials all night long!

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us over the years and will be coming by to celebrate our final day open with us tonight. I have so much gratitude for everyone and hope I can properly express it ❤️

Incase you haven’t heard, our very last day of service is this Monday 2/27 and we’re goin out with a banger 💥 From 6-8pm we’ll be hosting a ticketed cocktail tasting, followed by Industry Night (no cover) from 8pm-close. Save the date!

Dear PizzaPlex friends, followers, and family,

Nearly seven years ago, a backyard pizza hobby spiraled happily out of control, when a group of friends with excellent karaoke song portfolios and skills ventured to bring their love for people and planet and pizza to others. Thus was born PizzaPlex, a place to celebrate the intersectionality within each of us, with a nod to the Neapolitan pizza that baked in these dreams of a more equitable food service industry and respect for the hands behind each step of the food procurement and preparing process.

From the Neapolitan oven we sourced, to the events we hosted, to the team members who helped write and tell our story over the years, to the introduction of Filipino dishes on our menu - we made every single decision with deep intention, and we all tried our best.

So, after years of living that dream, we share with heavy hearts that we have made the tough but necessary decision to close PizzaPlex after this month is over. Our last day open to the public will be on Feb. 27, when we enjoy Carpano cocktails and, of course, damn good food together.

If we want to leave you all with anything beyond memories of eating Detroit’s only certified Verace Pizza Napoletana - it’s this: the reassurance to listen to and be yourself. All the time. Because the person you are is bellissimo, and we wish you may embrace and love yourself fully for the Whole Person you are. PizzaPlex always hoped we could be a place where you saw that in you. Please enjoy our last Thursday PizzaYOLO class this month and final party - Carpano Industry night on Feb. 27 (link to tickets in our bio). As we say in Naples - A vita è ‘n’affacciata ‘e fenesta. Life is a view from a window - things can get real hard real often, and then equally amazing in a single breath; so enjoy the view from wherever you are. It’s been real, and wild, and wonderful lookout from this window.
