A beautiful person passed away on Sunday September 15. Molly Carroll was a mom, wife, outstanding restaurant and office manager, certified sommelier, life of the party and a truly amazing human being. In addition to being a mom to her two boys Tim and Sam, wife and partner with her husband Danny, she was mom to countless employees that she managed over the years. She'd put you inline when you screwed up, listen when you needed it and gave caring advice even when you thought you didn't need it (she knew you did!)... then party with you later when the work was done! She and Danny partnered in a catering company while she worked the day shift at the Traffic Jam Restaurant for 15 years and later she took over the wine buying and officer manger position at Angelina Italian Bistro for another 6 years. Her passing left a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew her. But she left us a lifetime of memories. Thanks Molly. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 25 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Barrister Gardens at 24225 Harper Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. We are no longer monitoring this page... that is probably obvious! BUT, check out Motor City Brewing Works http://www.motorcitybeer.com for updates on the new restaurant! It will be on Livernois just North of 7 mile. Tentative opening is October '19.

Update for Angelina hours for Thanksgiving: We will NOT BE OPEN for the Thanksgiving parade as I mentioned a few days ago... we will be closed the entire day. Mike had oral surgery today and will be out of commission until at least the weekend. Have a great Thanksgiving!

As in past years, Angelina's will be open for snacks, hot chocolate, coffee and adult beverages at 8:30am on Thursday 11/23 for the Thanksgiving Parade. We will be closed for dinner that evening. Have a great holiday!

DETROIT – Oct. 2, 2017 – After a successful decade’s run on Broadway Street in the heart of Grand Circus Park, Angelina Italian Bistro will serve its last customer on Dec. 10, 2017. The decision to close the restaurant was made after a favorable agreement was reached between Angelina’s and their landlord.

Angelina’s will be opening at 4pm on Wednesday, July 12 before the Metallica concert at Comerica Park! Parking will be limited and expensive so if possible, park farther away and walk or take People Mover/Qline.

Angelina’s will be on Vacation July 4th thru July 10. Reopen for regular business Tuesday July 11.

Yesterday, Mike and Angelina staff volunteers provided food for those in need at Cass Community Social Services on Rosa Parks Blvd in Detroit. Angelina's donated food and our staff volunteers prepared and served the lunch. Cass Community Social Services is a Detroit-based agency dedicated to providing food, housing, health services, and job programs. You can find out more at their website https://casscommunity.org.
