This weekend is our last at Urbanrest Brewing // Downtown for now! Open thurs ‘til sunday! Our soft serve machine is tuned to deliver the whippiest lavender soft serve possible. Also serving chocolate and toasted marshmallow horchata. Thank you urbanrest and your amazing staff and picnic table situation out back!

Hello Cold Truth community- As we plan/plot for our pivot one thing that we’re very interested in is profit sharing and adding worker ownership to the business. Flavors- sweet creem, horchata and chocolate.

Hi friends, we have some unfortunate news to share. We have been tenants in midtown on Cass Avenue for the past 7 years and for the last 2 years we’ve been operating without a lease (month-to-month). We recently found out that the space was being advertised to find a new tenant. We were then served notice to vacate by August 31st, right in the middle of our busy season. We’ve tried to engage with the landlord about giving us a new lease or extending through the fall and these were flatly rejected.

This is a devastating blow as this location serves as the heart of our operation and we are currently trying to figure out what the future holds for Cold Truth. If you know of any opportunities out there, whether it’s a stand alone situation or a permanent popup, please DM us. Any leads would be appreciated.

So that’s where we stand at the moment. Thank you to everyone that has supported us throughout the years. Our last day at our Cass location will be August 30th. Our Ann Arbor and Ferndale locations will not be affected. Hope to have more information soon. 🙏🍦

Bringing back the Lavender pHONEYCOMB w/blueberry coulis and white chocolate sundae this week. FLAVORS- sweet creem, chocolate, lavender and coconut. Also, we will be selling GF ice cream sandwiches, watermelon mint lime water ice and pints of pHONEYCOMB at Eastern Market this saturday.
