Hey everyone-
As you may have heard, we have closed our doors at the Siren Hotel.
We did not expect this to happen- but we are focusing on the incredible time we have had caring for our guests and working with our amazing team over the last few years here.

Our goal was and always will be to create wonderful experiences for folks to enjoy themselves, to create food and work we care about, to work with folks we support and care about, and to continue our work in order to support our community.

Detroit, you welcomed and patronized us with open arms and we are eternally grateful that you let us care for you.
Let’s get together for pancakes and patty melts soon. Xoxo, Karl’s.

Lunch time is always a good idea with our “Garden of Eden” salad.

Detroit Spicy Greens from and , roasted carrots, marinated tomatoes, cucumber, scallion, pistachio, romaine, and our House Dill-y Ranch Dressing. It’s a Grown up version of a garden salad and we’re here for it 🙌 P.S. it’s vegan!

Dana Cowin, the former long-time Editor-in-Chief of Food & Wine Magazine, is a tastemaker, talent scout, author, lecturer and radio show host. When Cowin is not sharing advice on the best new restaurants to try, food trends to watch, or interviewing inspiring role models, she devotes her time to organizations she cherishes, including serving on the boards of City Harvest and Hot Bread Kitchen.

The world truly got a little bit dimmer this weekend.
Our hearts are broken. Jesse was a huge part of our Lady of the House, Karl's, and Candy Bar family for years and has been a staple in the Detroit hospitality community for a decade.

To know Jesse was to love him and to laugh with him. To so many friends, coworkers, and guests, he was family.

Come join in celebrating his life and legacy with us; eating some of his favorite food, drinking some of his favorite drinks, and listening to some of his roster of karaoke songs.
If you can come share a story, a drink, and a laugh, we'll be doing him proud. Let's tip our hat to always one of the best mustaches in the room.
