One of the successes on this amazing journey to establish compost drop off sites is a small pilot done in 2023 with Patrice Brown and Travis Peters. Fast forward to 2025, Patrice is leading the City's effort to establish city certified drop off sites with a pilot at the Detroit People's Food Co-op and Travis is building a community drop off site at his Green Boots farm.
