May 5th Celebrating International Compost Awareness Week in Detroit. Check out this love note from a participant in the Detroit Compost Program Pilot (sponsored by the City of Detroit Office of Sustainability). Today and everyday we thank and appreciate all of the participants for a commitment to "collect clean" (food scraps) for "clean compost". Today, we celebrate you and your contributions.
