Well…this is it, y’all. 🥹🌿

One last Basil Friday from the kitchen that has seen it ALL. The late nights. The sold-out menus. The “are y’all still taking orders?” texts. 😂 The dishes that had y’all licking the containers like nobody was watching. And every single person who ordered, shared, referred a friend, encouraged me, or simply said, “Girl, keep going.”

You have no idea what that support has meant to me.

But let’s be clear…we are NOT saying goodbye to Basil. We’re just giving this kitchen its final Friday because Basil is MOVING!🎉

From cooking out of my home to stepping into an actual building…whew. Look at God. Look at us. And look at what happens when you keep going even when the vision gets a little scary. ❤️

So come get ONE LAST PLATE from this chapter.

The crab & artichoke stuffed salmon.
The catfish.
The meatballs.
The Rasta Pasta.
The banana pudding.
That jumbo cinnamon roll that has absolutely no business being that good. 😂

Roasted tomatoes, peppers, onions & garlic, all simmered low and slow until they become this rich, flavorful goodness. 😋🥰

No pressure canning this batch because this one is headed straight to the dinner table this week! 🍝

First things first: **Basil Friday will be CLOSED this week.** So yes, y'all have to cook. 😩😂

But here's the bigger news... 👀

We're entering the final stretch of **Basil Friday as you know it.** In just a couple of weeks, we'll be serving our **LAST Basil Friday menu** in its current chapter.

🥹 It's bittersweet.
🙏🏾 It's exciting.
🚀 And baby... it's ONLY because something BIGGER is loading!

Let's just say **Basil is getting ready for a new home.** 👀🏠🍽️

🌱 FROM THE GARDEN TO THE SALSA JAR! 🌱

When your garden starts showing off, Basil has to answer the call. 😂

These tomatoes and peppers have been coming in abundance and I'm not about to let all that goodness go to waste.So I roasted them up with some onion and garlic, let that char do its thing, and turned the garden haul into a ROASTED PEPPER SALSA VERDE. 🔥🌶️🍅

There’s something extra satisfying about saying, “I grew that.” 😏🌱

This is what I mean when I say Basil is about fresh, homemade food with a little soul in every bite.

Now excuse me while I go find something to put this salsa on… because eating it with a spoon is starting to feel like a perfectly reasonable dinner.

A Little Basil Pause 🌿

We apologize for the late notice, but there will be NO Basil Friday tomorrow. 💚

Sometimes family has to come first, and this week we need to take a little time away from the kitchen. We appreciate everyone who was looking forward to their Basil fix and truly apologize for the short notice.

But don’t worry… this isn’t the only change happening around here. 👀

Basil is getting ready for something BIG.

The home kitchen has been our starting point, our testing ground, and the place where so many of you first fell in love with what we do.

Now we’re getting ready to take Basil to the next level. 🌿🔥

More space.
More food.
More opportunities.
More ways to feed y’all.

We’re not quite ready to spill all the tea yet… but trust us, you’re going to want a seat at this table. 👀
