Music is an important part of the dining experience. There are several studies that show how music can determine what type of dining experience you have. Detroit is known for many musical genres, so it’s no surprise that music is a big part of our Central Kitchen + Bar atmosphere and culture.

To celebrate Black Music Appreciation Month, we’re adding a new song recommendation from a Black artist(s) to each of our posts for the rest of the month.

Instead of a “Caption This” we’re going to “Music This” to create a curated soundtrack by our followers. When you think of a food item, favorite cocktail, or a specific dining
memory, let us know which song or artists come to mind.
