Carlos and I are so happy, grateful and excited to share the news with y’all!
Vamonos! Healthy Eats & Creative Spaces 4444 W. Vernor Southwest Detroit!

In the middle of our heartbreaking departure with investors Roger and Jerry offered us a great space to keep our mission going! ( a HUGE shoutout to for linking us up)
At Vamonos! We will offer non processed, healthy and AFFORDABLE food to our community we love so much, plus we will have plenty of room to be creative, from fitness, to art, to poetry, workshops, work and study spaces with everything we need to be and stay creative!

Through our departure with the Squeeze Station, we were pretty much pushed to selling our part, our work environment became so toxic that we decided to accept their offer and sell our part. This decision was taken in July, it is now November and all we’ve received from our former partners has been paintings we had at the shop and 2-3 coffee French presses. Thus far, we have learned our lesson to listen to our instincts and to not be so trusting. We have been victims of having our hard work and labor taken away, our community has also been victims of theseconsequences by us not being able to provide them with healthy food, eco friendly products and creative space! It is with an open heart, lots of gratitude and love that we ask for your help in any way towards the opening of Vamonos! The link to our Go-Fund me will be on our bio. The decision to create a Go Fund me, was a tough one but what made it easier was knowing how much a space like Vamonos! Is needed right here in and how much our love and support community has offered us!
Thank you all so much for any contribution you may be able to help us with! We are also taking donations for rugs, sofas, love seats,coffee tables and lamps!

Buenos días and happy Thursday!

This is announcement from Denisse and Carlos Lopez.

My husband and I have taken the decision to leave the Squeeze, while it was a tough decision, it was the best decision to make for our mental health and to remain in alignment with our mission to make healthy non processed food affordable, free fitness and community activities accesible to our community that we love so much, we must step away and start fresh, which we are extremely excited for! Please follow my new business page .vamonos_ to keep up with new projects, community and fitness events and our new wellness spot coming at you soon!

We want to thank my mother for her initial investment and continuing support throughout this mission! Our landlord for always being so enthusiastic about our vision, each and every single community leader who has helped us grow, all of the fitness instructors who also saw our vision, to my family and friends for your love and time, to all of our wonderful guests who became family, to all of the beautiful people who worked with us, all of the dope artists for making our shop look and feel beautiful, to all of the DJs for rocking our events, to all of the curators for helping us grow! We love and appreciate you all so so much!

Above all, we are so excited to keep our mission going, we don’t need a space to do the right thing when it comes to our body and planet, but we do need love, respect, awareness and positive support! May the Squeeze thrive for our community!
