Freedom tastes like this. ☕🖤

Juneteenth is a reminder of what it means to truly own your time, your story, and your future.
At Rosa, every cup we pour is a celebration of that freedom. Black excellence brewed daily.
Come through and raise a cup with us today. 🌹

Four years ago, we opened Rosa with a simple belief: community belongs at the center.

As we celebrate our fourth anniversary, I’m excited to share the next chapter of the Rosa story.

Beginning June 29, Rosa is heading down the street to Miss Eva’s in Rosedale Park. This collaboration brings together two businesses inspired by family legacy and rooted in hospitality, connection, and community.

We’re also strengthening Rosa for the future by bringing experienced food and beverage operators into the business, allowing us to build on what we’ve created while continuing to raise the bar.

As part of this pivot, June 19 will be the final day of café operations at Grandma’s House and Watersquare. Rosa Campus Café at Wayne State University remains an important part of our future, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.

Thank you for growing with us over the last four years. We look forward to continuing to serve you at Rosa Campus Café, and beginning June 29, at Rosa at Miss Eva’s.

For the love of Rosa,

Charity

Four years of Rosa. ☕

Community gathers here. Culture lives here. Black entrepreneurship shows out here.

To everyone who pulled up, brought a friend, stayed a little longer than planned — thank you for making Rosa what it is. 💚

Four years ago, Rosa opened its doors with a mission to pour excellence into everything we do. 🖤☕

Since then, you’ve shown up for us in the most beautiful ways. Every order, every visit, every share — it all matters.

Thank you for four years of love and community. Looking forward to many more.

Thank you!!

Some businesses are built to make money.
Some are built to make community.

What started as legacy, love, and family has become a space that feels like home to Detroit.

It started with her grandmother’s legacy…
and grew into a space Detroit could call its own.

More than coffee.
More than aesthetics.
More than a business.

A place where culture, connection, conversation, and purpose meet over coffee.

Building something meaningful while honoring where it all began is a different kind of impact.

We see you. 🌸 Rosa

Cause Mama gotta have a life too.

We're hosting a Mama's Day Party at Grandma's House on Saturday, May 9 from 3-9pm, and we want you there.

This is a FUNraiser to support Rosa—because keeping this space alive takes a village, and y'all are our village. Tickets are $10, but you can contribute more to support the cause. Every dollar goes directly to supporting Rosa.

Come celebrate the mamas, the mother figures, the ones who mother everyone around them. They deserve to kick back, have a drink, and enjoy good company.

📍 Rosa - Grandma's House
19180 Grand River Ave, Detroit, MI 48223
