Hey All,

Well, the holiday season has finally crept up on us, so we wanted to let you know.....

We will be closing at 2pm today, Wednesday, December 24th, and closed all day on Thursday, December 25th, in observance of the Christmas holiday.

We will also be closed all day on Friday, December 26th for maintenance and repairs.

We will reopen for business as usual on Saturday, December 27 at 6am. Hope to see you all then!

Until then, we would like to wish you and your families a safe, healthy and happy holiday season, from all of us here at The 59'er!

Hey all,

My how the time flies.......

Seems as though it was just yesterday that we celebrated our 41st anniversary and here it is, another year has gone by. Whoo Hoo, we made it to 42!!

SO,

We just wanted to let you know that we will be closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, October 6th, 7th & 8th, 2025.

We will reopen at 6am on Thursday, October 9th.

We would like to say THANKS for your business and support. We'll see you all on Thursday when we get back. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!

Hey All,

Hope you're having a wonderful summer!

We have had an AMAZING year again thanks to each and every one of you who have visited our business.

However, there comes a time when everyone needs to take a break. So, we are doing our annual family get together again this year.

We wanted to let you know that we will be closing at 2pm on Friday, August 22 and will remain closed Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday the 23rd, 24th, 25th, & 26th. We will reopen for business as usual at 6am on Wednesday, August 27th.

We would also like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU for your patience, understanding and continued support.

Stay safe & healthy and we will see you when we return on Wednesday!!

Due to the weather, (once again, ugh!), creating a lack of business, we will be closing at 5:30pm today, Friday, January 17th. We will open for business as usual at 6am tomorrow, Saturday, January 18th. See you Then!!

Just an FYI to let you know that we are closing at 2pm today, Wednesday, December 4th, due to the beautiful Minnesota weather.

We will reopen at 6am tomorrow, Thursday, December 5th, for business as usual. (we hope).

Stay warm, stay out of the ditches and STAY SAFE!!

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that we will be closed all day on Monday & Tuesday, October 7th & 8th.

We will be short staffed because we will have no morning or evening cook as we will be spending some "quality alone time" TOGETHER to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. You know spending all of those hours here every day TOGETHER just isn't enough. LOL!!!

See you all when we return on Wednesday morning!!

P.S. Don't forget to stop in for breakfast on Sunday morning, October 6th, to watch the Minnesota Vikings play football in London England. Game starts at 8:30am. See you then.

Sorry Everyone,

Just a little FYI.....

We are planning to be closed again this year for our yearly "family get away" as usual from the afternoon of Friday, August 23rd until we reopen at 6am on Wednesday, August 28th. (Yeah, a vacation!!!)

However, due to those unforeseen circumstances that happen to real people in real life, we will have to close earlier than expected. We will be CLOSING TODAY, TUESDAY, AUGUST 20th at 2pm. (Booooo, not what we had planned!!!)

We will still be REOPENING AT 6AM on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28th for business as usual!! Stay Safe, Happy & Healthy and we'll see you all then!!!

Hello again,

Well, no good news to report again.

Just wanted to let you all know that we will be closed all day tomorrow, Monday, May 6th to repair a leak from upstairs in the motel that wants to run down into the restaurant. Hopefully they can locate where the leak is coming from and have it repaired all in one day without tearing out too much of the ceiling.

We will be reopening at 6am on Tuesday, May 7th, for business as usual, come H*** or high water! (I know, NOT funny!).

Hey All,

It's that time of year again. We're headed off to the food show.

SO.....

We just wanted to give you a heads up that we will be closing at 2pm on Wednesday, April 24th and will be closed all day on Thursday April 25th.

However, we look forward to seeing you all when we reopen at 6am on Friday, April 26th, hopefully with some new, fresh menu ideas to tantalize your taste buds and please even the most discriminating of palates.

Hey All,

Just a quick note to let you know that we will be closed all day on Wednesday, January 31st, to have our new water softener system installed.

Our current system is outdated (or should I say "antiquated"), and can no longer keep up with the current rate of demand needed to supply us with serviceable water for drinking, cooking and etc. (If you were here last week, you probably got to taste the "salty coffee", or the rusty/metallic water and the other "off flavor" beverages. We are so very sorry about that.)

We will reopen at 6am on Thursday, February 1st for business as usual.

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we continue to try to "new and improve" to keep up with the latest technologies and best available features for you and our business.
