A quieter kind of day on the Harbor. 🤎

Stopped by the Tavern today and found this guy keeping an eye on things. Apparently, someone still has to work around here. 😂

With the storm approaching, we’ve decided to close The Harbor Tavern today and tomorrow, October 8th and 9th, to give our staff and families time to prepare and stay safe.

There’s something special about this little corner of Destin, even on the cloudy, quiet days.

To our neighbors, friends, and everyone calling the Harbor home, please stay safe, look out for one another, and take care of yourselves. 🙏🏽

We’ll see you back on the Harbor soon. 🤎

One of our favorite things about this property has been here much longer than we have. 🌳

This old oak has overlooked the Harbor for decades, becoming such a familiar part of this little spot that it eventually became part of The Harbor Tavern itself (it inspired our logo).

Same tree. Same Harbor. A whole lot of stories in between.✨✌🏾

Before The Harbor Tavern, this property was simply home. 🤎

This is Sylvia and her dad, Capt. Nick, standing in front of “Nick’s Place.” Her grandfather came here from Greece and homesteaded this property, and the little wooden house on the hill is where their family was raised.

Sylvia thinks this must have been a Sunday, she’s holding her choir robe in the photo.

I love knowing how many memories were made on this little piece of the Harbor long before we were here.

There are so many stories behind this place. I think it’s time we start sharing them.

A little reality behind the pretty picture ✨

Grabbed a few pumpkins and raced down to the docks to get the shot before the rain rolled in… which apparently required laying on the dock. 😂🎃

We’re a small, family run business, so behind this page you’ll find us cooking,decorating, planning and doing W.I.T!!!
