.The Beacon Tap opened in 1955 and is the oldest bar in the Chicago suburb of Des Plaines. It was purchased and closed for renovation by the Calabrese Restaurant Group in early 2017. The Underpass Restaurant Group owns and operates Zia's Social in Norwood Park, Chicago and Cafe Touché in Edison Park.
