Friends, customers, frenemies, we have an important announcement. We are closing!
Our first priority is our staff, with that being said we will plan to be open through May while they seek new opportunities, but it could be sooner depending on how quickly that happens. We are a small team so it won’t take much. So don’t wait to get your last fix, essentially, as it may be sooner! If you are a restaurant looking for amazing back of house people - let us get you in touch with ours.
We know these kind of announcements seem big and sad and many times they are, but we are just so happy and thankful for the past 6 years (and almost 41 years total as a family!) and closing a chapter on your own terms as small business owners is truly a gift.
The people who matter have stuck by us through all the changes we’ve undergone as a business and we are forever grateful to you. You know who you are. In the past 6 years so much has happened, the most important of them being us becoming parents. With our son starting school, becoming involved in activities, we’ve known we don’t want to miss a minute of it. So we will be focusing on our other two businesses that also bring us so much joy and incidentally a bit more of a regular day to day life.
We know you’ll have questions and assumptions and lots of things in between. But as a family we have decided to close this chapter instead of selling to someone else and we hope you can understand that. It may feel odd to say (or type) but it’s important to us that you know that no one failed us, including ourselves. We are closing a chapter we are ready to close.
We are really proud of what we’ve done, the “guns” we’ve stuck to during times no one could have predicted, the team of incredible people we have brought together, and of course the vegan food we’ve brought to our community. We would be remiss not to mention how important that last part has been to us and also plays a big role in this decision.
We love (most) of you reading this 😉 and hope to drop off a pizza or see you in for a carry out before we say goodbye. Remember to be kind to each other, to support small businesses (!!) and to always have an extra slice of pizza because you deserve it. South side forever ❤️ We’ll be seeing you.
