Fresko Our name, meaning “fresh,” inspires our creation of seasonal menus made from locally sourced ingredients from the bounty farms of Iowa.

The culinary team prepares product from start to finish, applying natural, time honored techniques with care at every step. Fresko features a splendid assortment of original cocktails with a deep spirits menu and a beer program with sixteen beers on tap, in addition to bottles and cans. Fresko's wine menu focuses on quality selections at a great value to our guests. Happy Hour is 4-6 pm Monday through Friday!

Iowa has one of the highest rates of cancer in the United States. And we as a Fresko family, are tired of it.

So we decided to do something about it. 💚

Join Fresko, and the Vinzant family, in giving back this month. From September 8th-20th this menu will be available!

How does it work? You select what you want, enjoy an amazing 3 course dinner, and we donate 20% of profits from that back towards fighting cancer and supporting those who have it. 🫶

Together we can make a change, and strengthen a community!

Don’t forget your tickets to Nikki - DES MOINES HAIR&LASH & Olivia Evison hair class September 13th at 11 AM! They will have cute little goodie bags for the everyone to be able to make your favorite little helpers hair the cutest!

Katie Wiklund will be there to take photos and print those pictures right there for anyone who wants to take the memory home not just left as another picture lost in the memory of your phone. 📸

Big Grove is providing a free beer for our dads, and a little cute mocktail for a pretty littles to enjoy while they get their hair done. 💚

We at Fresko will provide the goodie bags for our dads and daughters! 🛍️

DSM Girl Dinner is taking off in a whole new light!

Working closely with Friends of Des Moines Parks, they were able to help make this dinner even more magical by allowing us to use the Christine Hensley Terrace over looking the Grays Lake and the DSM skyline all at the perfect time of 6PM-8PM, peak golden hour. 🌇

We can’t wait to work with thebloomritualbb in creating bouquets after the dinner for our amazing guests!!! 💐 (This is separate from ticket purchase)

Thanks again to chef Dale Rinderman for bringing his dinner program Savor (Savor The Rise ) from Indianola to Grays Lake for us. This task isn’t easy but worth every little bit of effort. 🫶

Good evening city of DSM 💚

We want to thank everyone for coming to our Harvest & Sea Collab. This event sold out plus we managed to squeeze a few last minute people in who desperately wanted to come!

sushipopupdsm had amazing flavors to truly highlight the seafood we brought on. Chef Gabriel Waite-Santibáñez had the most creative menu and put his ALL into this. We watched as he worked prepping each dish to perfection. Thank you for coming into our home and sharing who you are by putting your story onto the plates in such a beautiful way.

We will be posting a short interview soon with chef to get his insight on why he does this and who he does it for. 🫶

We can’t believe our newest moss wall addition took less than an hour to install!

Trendy Gardener® | Des Moines Plant Design & The Carpenter's Mark came in early Saturday morning and went right to work. 👏

We worked hard with Trendy Gardener® | Des Moines Plant Design to create a design that would bring Fresko and Iowa in the center of the focal point. So this amazing artist put Des Moines downtown grid around our Fresko F logo! We love that his team and him are such out of the box thinkers because this exceeded all expectations.

At Fresko we are focusing on bringing the community together in new ways, and this is a part of it. We believe when you have an amazing piece of art that is apart of nature in your space it allows for serenity to flow and connections to be made. 💚

We are excited to announce our first moss wall project by our local friends Trendy Gardener® | Des Moines Plant Design 🌱🌱

Our design was made with DSM in mind through and through. The signature Fresko “F” is in the center of the grid of downtown Des Moines. 💚

Creating a fresh new space for our community to come in and connect with nature and each other was our goal and Hunter helped make this possible in every way.

Part two will be coming soon to show you all the final touches. 🫶
