The Quail & Ale will be closed today and tomorrow in observance of Independence Day.

Happy Birthday America! One thing that we have learned over the (almost) five years of running a small business is that we have WAY much more in common with each other than we do differences.

So this weekend, while celebrating our country’s 250th Birthday, eat some hot dogs, drink some cocktails, play some music and light off some fireworks. And make sure to take some time to say hi to your neighbor, hug a parent, return a phone call, thank a first responder, thank a veteran, say you’re sorry, bury the hatchet, hold the door open, pet a dog, leave a bigger tip than necessary, tell someone you’re proud of them for no reason at all.

And think about all the awesome things that unite us, rather than the petty things that divide us.
