We had a truly inspirational customer stop by today during his 700-mile kayaking journey! 🛶
Bill has set out on this incredible adventure to raise money and support families living with the overwhelming medical expenses and financial challenges associated with a rare disorder that most people have never heard of: Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome (CCHS).
Living with CCHS often requires extensive medical equipment, appointments, testing, and ongoing care to give children the opportunity to live their best lives. Bill’s son is one of those amazing kids.
Bill stopped by our Derby shop today and took some time to share his remarkable story with us. We are truly honored to have met him and wish him safe travels as he continues the rest of his journey!
At the time of his visit, Bill was around the 200-mile mark and entering his second week on the water. He expects to have approximately three more weeks of adventure ahead of him!
