Honestly, we're probably too straight to be a gay bar and too gay to be a straight bar.

For more than seven years, Wild Corgi Pub has been part of the Capitol Hill and Cheesman Park neighborhoods. You'll find frat bros at one table and drag queens at another. During Stock Show, they're probably joined by a few cowboys sharing a round too. You'll find g**s, theys, people figuring out who they are, people who've known exactly who they are for years, and an awkward first date between a guy and a gal who clearly don't have much in common except the fact that they both ended up here with false expectations from an app that says they're soulmates.

That's one of the best parts of Denver. Be yourself. Leave everyone else the space to do the same. Or, to put it another way: don't be an as***le.

Pride Month is important, but the truth is we've never been interested in saving acceptance for June. We believe people should be able to walk through our doors, grab a drink, meet friends, and be exactly who they are without worrying about whether they'll be welcomed.

And if someone decides to make another guest feel uncomfortable, they'll quickly learn that's not how things work here. Any one of these goofy folks in the photo will make damn sure of that.

So whether you're celebrating Pride, celebrating surviving another work week, or just looking for a neighborhood bar where you can be yourself, there's a seat waiting for you at the Corgi.
