Syrup Cherry Creek is closing permanently on Sunday, August 16th.
To our Syrup family and friends,
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the permanent closure of our original location, Syrup Cherry Creek, on Sunday, August 16th.
This decision has been deeply emotional for us. As our lease comes to an end, we've made the difficult decision not to renew it. While saying goodbye to this location is incredibly difficult, we believe this is the right time to focus on the future of the Syrup family.
When our late founder, Tim Doherty, opened Syrup Cherry Creek in April of 2010, his dream was simple: to create a place where people felt welcomed, comforted, and cared for. Cherry Creek wasn't just our first restaurant—it was where the Syrup story began. We are proud of what this restaurant has meant to our guests, our employees, and our community.
Since opening our Cherry Creek location, we've expanded to four additional Syrup restaurants in the Denver area: City Park, Downtown, Edgewater, and Capitol Hill. Tim's vision has always been about more than just great food—it has always been about people. Every guest who walks through our doors becomes part of our story, and we are endlessly grateful to the families who have made Syrup part of their traditions, the friends who have gathered around our tables, and the team members who have poured their hearts into making every Syrup restaurant feel like home.
As we approach our final day at Cherry Creek, we invite you to stop by, enjoy your favorite dish, and spend time with the staff who have made this place so special. After August 16th, we hope you'll continue the journey with us. Our City Park, Downtown, Edgewater, and Capitol Hill locations remain open and look forward to welcoming you.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives over the past sixteen years. Cherry Creek will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to creating many more memories with you at our other locations.
