Today we handed over the keys to someone who will likely never understand what this place truly meant.
They’ll see a building.
We’ll see 15 years of community.
They’ll never see the volunteers who have spent hours helping us move furniture, empty shelves, haul equipment, loan us tools, bring us meals, or simply show up and ask, “What else do you need?” They won’t see the countless acts of kindness that have carried us through some incredibly long days.
What we’ve built here was never just a brewery.
It was where strangers became friends. Where neighbors became family. Where birthdays, weddings, memorials, fundraisers, first dates, hard conversations, and life’s big moments all found a home. It became a place where people knew they belonged.
Buildings can change hands. Signs can come down. But a community like this can’t be bought, sold, or replaced.
If there’s one thing we’re taking with us, it’s the overwhelming reminder that Copper Kettle was never defined by four walls or a brewhouse. It was defined by all of you.
Thank you for believing in our vision, making it your own, and reminding us these past few weeks that what we created together mattered.
More than beer.
More than a business.
A community.
And that is something we’ll carry with us forever. ❤️ Jeremy and Kristen
