Been silent for awhile…. but EXCITING NEWS!!!!

We’ve been approved for our mobile food license!!! Getting ready to start slangin’ lattes across Denver!

We made it!!! My goal was to have the cart operable for my birthday so I could share delicious coffee with friends and family; and we did it! The last week was a whirlwind… 10-14 hour days, so many trips to Lowe’s (official count coming later), barista training with my roaster, towing the cart for the first time (IN THE SNOW), new syrup recipes, all the plumbing, electrical, and final touch ups….

But oh my dog, it actually happened!

Looking back at a year ago, and I had just selected a roaster to work with. To think we’ve come this far in a year is crazy… and doesn’t feel real to be honest.

Now to make it official! 📑 Next target: submit for my food license by the end of the month!

Plumbing part 2
(that’s posted….in reality it’s part 739,754 💀)

BUT I THINK THATS IT!! We’ll find out for sure during installation, but I think I got the final part figured out! I had been stuck trying to get the 1-1/2” drain pipe reduced down to fit in the 1/2” inlets in my grey water tank and was banging my head against the wall and drowning (🥁) in adapters, couplers, and reducers. Then we asked ourselves… what if we just created another hole in the tank?? 🤯

Does this ever happen to you? You’ve been looking at a problem one way for so long you can’t see any other options? How do you flip your thinking? How do you get unstuck?!
