Family, I swear we never imagined just how much love you were going to show us at de Barrio. 🫶🏾🔥🇵🇷🔥
From the moment we opened the window at 11:00 a.m., it was “fuego a la lata” 😂🔥—nonstop until 6:45 p.m., when we were told it was time to close. It was a hot, intense, exhausting day, with a whole lot of craziness going on…
Almost at the end of the event, Rafael wasn’t feeling well, and we had to take him to the hospital by ambulance. A huge thank you to the paramedics who were there and acted with such promptness, professionalism, and compassion.
When I told Emely to close, many customers who had already been waiting in line for a while told us they would wait as long as necessary. 🥹
And that’s when I realized, once again, that A Fuego is so much more than a restaurant.
The number of people who called me, texted me, sent messages with blessings and prayers… honestly, you left me speechless. ❤️
Seeing my team worried, yet still pushing forward and going the extra mile, both at the restaurant and with the food truck, filled me with so much pride. Rafy, Miguel, Omar, Oneida, Carmen, Sofía, and Emely absolutely knocked it out of the park.
And my beloved Lynette, Gabriel, Isis, and Paola, who left wherever they were and rushed over to help at the restaurant and even went to pick up the food truck from the park. ❤️
That is something you never forget.
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Words will never be enough to express how grateful I am for all the love, support, and solidarity.
Thank God, Rafael is doing better. 🙌🏾 They discharged him yesterday, and now I’m trying to get him to rest… because arguing with me is apparently his favorite extreme sport. 🤦🏽♀️😂😂
But seriously: thank you for every call, every message, every prayer, and every blessing. Yesterday, in the middle of the scare and exhaustion, you reminded us that we are not alone.
Thank you for being part of our family. ❤️🔥🇵🇷🔥🙏🏽🫶🏾
