Hi y’all!

We just wanted to get on here and say we are so sorry for our finicky HVAC system. We are fully aware of it and know it can get a bit toasty in the cafe. We are working hard to start the overhaul our whole system. We have a new one coming your way! In the mean time, we are working towards temporary solutions.

And just like that, students have another semester in the books. Graduation weekend is always one of our favorite times of the year because we get to see all you graduates come in and celebrate you. It’s always gives us so much joy being able to be a small part of your journey through university!

AND, we got to celebrate one of our FAVE graduates this year: Emilia! She crushed it. She always crushes it.

She graduated with her degree in Studio Art - Drawing & Painting. If you see her behind the bar, give her a congratulations…she def has earned it 🎓💚🦅

Hey I’m Vince! The general manager of West Oak! Maybe you’ve seen me around.

Alittle bit about me….I’ve been in the coffee industry for 10 years and the hospitality industry for 17years. The first coffee I ever tried that blew my mind was a Washed Gesha from Ethiopia. The idea of a coffee could taste like jasmine tea and had the sweetness of wild honey was mind boggling to me.

I’ve done every job from barista, lead barista, shop trainer, head educator, production roaster and head roaster and now I’m managing my favorite coffee shop!

In my free time I like to draw and paint , you’ll catch me at recycled flipping through records.

The baristas also make fun of me for wearing so much camo print saying “where’s your shirt?!?” I never know what they mean.

Say hi next time you see me!!
