CLARA'S 'A' HONOR ROLL INCENTIVE CHALLENGE

Being parents to a blended family consisting of 8 children, 9 grandchildren and counting, education is VERY IMPORTANT to us. We've always encouraged our kids to be their best and to continue asking questions until it's satisfied. Now that our children are young mature adults with #8 graduating this year, we want to extend our educational enthusiasm on to you, our extended family!
With that being said, we'd like to ask you a question.
We like to encourage/challenge your child to strive to be the best that they can. With your permission, we'd like to offer your 6th, 7th, or 8th grader monetary rewards(TBD) along with a weekly Claras Kitchen shout out to be recognized by your local Denton neighbors for making the six week's A honor roll.
If you or your child, with your signed permission, would like to participate in our incentive challenge, please contact us via Fb messenger.

Limited applicants chosen.
Rewards based on local participation.
New applicants chosen every six weeks.

Hopefully we'll get more small businesses involved in order to show our youth the importance of community; to show support not only to our athletes but to our "academic stars". Our youth needs a "Pat on the back" from the "VILLAGE"....NOW MORE EVER!!!

I'm up @ 12:30 in the morning just sitting here thinking. YES Clara's Kitchen is a restaurant in the S.E.D section (the "hood") of Denton but Tammy and I want to be SO MUCH MORE than that. We want to be an EXPERIENCE. We want to be a LASTING MEMORY. We want to be an IMPORTANT part of the community.
Our hunger and drive to be great is almost unbearable because our shortcoming, at times, are magnified. We love what we do with a passion and we've changed some of the dynamics of South East Denton and we are so proud of that. You can't say S.E.D w/o mentioning Clara's Kitchen. We have people that travel from all over the metroplex (Dallas, Gville, Sanger, Lewisville, Carrollton, Lil Elm, Frisco, etc.) just to come out and have a good time with us. Although we are the smallest facility in Denton we promise that we'll keep pushing out some of the biggest flavors you've ever tasted. I actually think it's a miracle that so many different dishes are created here.
Clara's Kitchen is and has become a safe haven for so many and part of a lot of people's ending to every weekend. We love that you guys and girls come in and treat and RESPECT us as family and as family WE WILL do whatever it takes to make you feel the same and protect you . That means that we will feed those in need, provide a ride for your own protection (uber, taxi, etc.), WE WILL CALL the necessary authorities (ya mama, daddy, dpd ), trespass and ban the disrespectful any troublemakers and press charges if necessary! We can't express enough how good it feels to serve y'all and watch that smile creep up on your faces.
Well we're gonna end this thought/rant for now but we just wanted to give you guys a lil insight to our passion and to say THANK GOD for allowing us to be a vessel, THANK YOU for your support, and as always.... WE LOVE Y'ALL!!

June 19th 1865, better known to the black community as "Juneteenth", is a very significant and special date to us in Texas. Its history will lead us to believe that it was the date of the freedom of slaves, however; it's actually the date we, here in the South, actually received the news of the two-year-old emancipation proclamation . Thus is the reason we, African Americans, celebrate this particular date/weekend (our 4th of July if you will). So to celebrate and support this special day we, Clara's Kitchen, will have ""19 cent"" hot dogs for """1,865 minutes""" beginning at noon on June 17th.
