It breaks my heart to type this, but I believe in being completely transparent with you all.

For a little over a year now, business for Stressed Backwards Is Desserts has been at a standstill.

With the massive surge of new home bakers and stands everywhere you look, it has felt nearly impossible to get my work seen the way it used to.

It has nothing to do with my family or my passion, it’s just the tough reality of a saturated market and algorithms that keep small makers hidden.

I don’t have a brick-and-mortar storefront or the setup for a street-side stand, but my home kitchen and porch mini-fridge are still fully up and running.

However, I simply can't afford to stock up on ingredients without pre-orders keeping things afloat.

I’m taking things day by day, but I just miss the days when my little business felt seen.

If you want to help me finish out the year strong, sharing my posts, telling a friend, or placing an order means the absolute world to me.

Stressed Backwards Is Desserts gave my family 6 great years of making memory filled treats and I wouldn’t want it any other way, however I do feel it’s time to finally take a step back.

Well when I started my small business I didn’t have a following so we got a mixer from Walmart and the whisk broke. They don’t make replacement parts for it either, not even Amazon🥴

So I run to my mother in laws when I need a good whipping with the kitchen aid😂😂
