Thank you to the sweet lady who stopped me at Restaurant Depot. You made my morning! It’s tough being a small business owner sometimes but it makes it worth it when you hear stories of how her daughter traveled from Hammond to come to our small restaurant to meet up with the girls.

BR Food Fights did a round up on the local Chicken Parmesan. Our Chicken Parmesan made the line up. Come give it a try at 240 Capitol Street in Denham Springs.

We set up a salad and baked potato bar for the teachers today. The parents and I worked together to make a great lunch for some deserving teachers. 📚✏️🚌

It’s finally time!

The nominations have been counted, the Top 5 in each category have been finalized, and we’re officially announcing this year’s Best of Livingston Parish nominees!

What’s been amazing is that even before we officially announced the nominees, many of you noticed voting had quietly opened on our website. Since Friday, we’ve already had more than 3,700 votes cast, simply through people sharing the ballot and spreading the word. That’s incredible, and it shows just how excited Livingston Parish is for this year’s awards.

If you haven’t voted yet, there’s still plenty of time! Official voting is open now through August 15.

📍 Important: Because Facebook limits how many people and businesses can be tagged in one post, all 35 categories and their nominees will be posted in the comments below. Find your category, congratulate your fellow nominees, tag your friends, and don’t forget to cast your vote!
