Delray Beach Golf Club is a 1923 Donald Ross Design located off of Atlantic Avenue just three miles west of the historic Downtown Delray Beach area. A meticulously manicured championship track that features 6,907 yards and a par-72. DBGC is a full service operation: driving range, putting area, lesson programs, and full restaurant, bar/lounge, and banquet facilities.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Richard (Rick) Durham, who passed away on March 31, 2025.

Rick was a PGA Professional for over 20 years with JCD Sport Group. Prior to joining the JCD team Mr. Durham was Head Professional at Cypress Creek Country Club for 26 years. Mr. Durham specialized in all phases of junior instruction and assisted area schools with their golf programs. He provided adult group and individual instruction for over 34 years. Mr. Durham organized and directed many group and corporate outings and was a skilled calligrapher. Mr. Durham had three published instruction articles in ‘Golf Illustrated’ magazine. He was certified in all phases of club building and repair. While in college he played on the FAU Golf team which were 1976 NAIA section champions and has competed in many state and local golf tournaments.
