“You need to wrap it up” A Few minutes to be honest and explain the influence of the culture in a community.

Today, we just want to say thank you.

Ukelele was born from a very simple passion: to serve, to share our culture, and to bring a little piece of Venezuela to Delray Beach.

But along the way, we discovered that we are not alone.

In this corridor, there is not only food. There are families, stories and immigrants working with faith, discipline, and love. There are people who, without big corporations behind them or major investors, have built something real for this community.

It would be easy for us to say that here you can find the best pizza, the best lasagna, or the best Venezuelan food.

But the truth is deeper than that. What we felt in that meeting was recognition.

Recognition of honest work, constant effort and years of sacrifice.
Recognition of businesses that have brought life, light, culture, and community to a space that did not always have this kind of movement.

Being an entrepreneur is not always easy. Sometimes everything seems to be moving in the right direction, and suddenly uncertainty shows up. But we are a family of faith, and we believe that what is planted with love will bear fruit in time.

Thank you, Delray Beach, for seeing us and for listening to us.
Thank you for allowing us to keep sharing our culture, an experience, and a little piece of home.

Thank you to each Commissioner and to the Mayor for your words of support, for listening, and above all, for recognizing something that, for us, goes far beyond a plate of food.

But here’s something we’ve learned after years of serving outdoors:

Some of the most memorable nights happen after the rain.

The air feels different. The lights feel warmer. The conversations last a little longer.

So before changing your dinner plans, remember…

Unless there’s a severe storm or safety concern, Ukelele remains open Tuesday through Sunday.

Because sometimes the weather changes.

The journey doesn’t.
