Where are all of our COFFEE CURIOUS customers at?!?! 💚💚💚💚💚

We at the Delaware Starbucks want to first, THANK this entire community for being so understanding and supportive as we work vigilantly to get our store fully staffed again! We have SOOO many new applications to looks through and genuinely appreciate all of you more than I can begin to put into words 🙏🏽💚

With that being said, it has not escaped us that our current situation continues to throw a wrench in many of your daily Caffeine Routines 😣

So, over the next few weeks as we hire, train and staff new baristas, we’d like to create a fun new Coffee Culture web series here on Facebook & Instagram where your beloved Delaware Baristas will share THEIR favorite ways to prepare Starbucks Coffee at home! (Because let me tell you…… the moment you master a good French Press you’ll never go back to using k-cups again 😭🤤)

💚✨ DELAWARE STARBUCKS UPDATE ✨💚

What does it take to make the absolute BEST cup of coffee??

Well, I like to think it starts with PEOPLE.

Did you know that Starbucks baristas make just about all of your handcrafted beverages from scratch?

We grind the beans.
We make our own whipped cream.
We freshly blend sweet cream for every single drink that comes with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam on top.
We grind and brew multiple batches of Cold Brew for 20 hours each.

Coffee isn’t just something we press a button to dispense… it’s a craft of love that we pour our hearts into 💚

Ugh… I’m gushing over coffee again 😌

I say all of that to say…. We’ve had some major staffing hiccups lately, and our partners are the heartbeat of our stores.

Here’s a little behind the scenes look into what my Wednesday night has looked like- rewriting 3 weeks of schedules with modified hours (Thank goodness I know where to get my hands on
some cold brew😜)

We’re working VERY hard to bring some consistency back to our customer experience.

These are the temporary store hours for our Delaware Cafe. Our hope is to condense more baristas in a smaller window to time so that you can count on us being open when we say we will be.

And I’m the meantime, I’ll be sifting through the DOZENS of new barista applications we’ve received from you guys in the last 24 hours!!

What an amazing 4 years serving the Delaware community!! And I want to say thank you to everyone that gave me the chance to get to know them! I am now the Store Manager at the New Albany Starbucks location, and leave you all in the capable hands of the partners at the Delaware location! They are great partners and I know they will take excellent care of you while you visit the store. I still live in Delaware so if you see me out and about, stop and say hello!! Or if you find yourself in the New Albany, I would love to see you!! Thanks for everything Delaware! It was truly my pleasure

We are still collecting non perishables for the The Byron Saunders Foundation Delaware County to help bring 750 families in Delaware County Thanksgiving meals! While you're out this weekend please think about picking up a couple extra cans for those in need!!

Canned or boxed goods:
Vegetables( sweet corn, green beans, potatoes, peas, yams)

Fruits(peaches, pineapples, oranges, fruit cocktail, pears)

Side dishes( Mac n' cheese, potato au gratin, stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, gravy mix, dinner roll mix, cornbread mix, muffin mix)

Desserts( pie shells, pumpkin puree, pie fillings, evaporated milk, boxed cake mix, cookie and brownie mixes)

Due to the weather we will be closing our store tonight at 7pm. (All stores in the Columbus area will be doing the same) We will reopen tomorrow at 7am. If anything changes I will update this page ASAP! Please be safe out there if you have to drive, the roads are pretty wicked!!
