Wednesday marks 7 years since I painted the original wings…I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than unveiling the mini - a daydream that’s finally becoming a reality!

These mini wings will be the 7th installation of the series!!! How fitting!

I am THRILLED to share that the stars have aligned and I will be painting a mini set of the DeLand Wings!!!!

The mini wings will be steps away from their predecessor in Persimmon Lane, which runs along the east side of The West Volusia Beacon office. My heart flutters when I think of all the kids and pets that will pose in front of this mural.

The DeLand Wings are approaching their 7th birthday and the perfect way to celebrate is painting the mini wings. This will also be the 7th set in the series!

The making of a mural: swallow-tailed kite. What a special morning! I revealed the final set of wings in the series. Lake Woodruff holds a special place in my heart and I’m HONORED to have a piece of my work grace this beautiful landscape. Thank you to Visit West Volusia and Benedict Advertising for dreaming up the series and selecting me to create it. This has been a dream come true!!!!!! I am THRILLED to announce the 6th and final set of wings in the series! Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge is one of my favorite places on the planet.
