It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we are announcing the closure of Up Top Cafe.
Our final day open will be Sunday, September 13th.
Due to circumstances outside of our control, and the ongoing effects of Brenda’s illness and the significant changes it has brought to our family, we have been faced with some incredibly difficult decisions over the past several months.
Ultimately, life has made some of those decisions for us.
While this is not how or when we imagined this chapter ending, we know that closing Up Top is what is best for our family and, most importantly, allows us to put our time and energy where it is needed most right now.
Up Top has never just been a coffee shop to us. It has been our family’s home away from home, a gathering place, a creative outlet, and a way for us to become part of this incredible community. We have celebrated with you, cried with you, laughed with you, watched your families grow, and gotten to know so many of you simply because you walked through our doors.
There really aren’t words big enough for what your support has meant to our family.
We hope you’ll stop in and see us during these final few days, grab your favorite drink or meal, share a memory, and help us give Up Top the send-off it deserves.
Thank you for loving this little place alongside us. Thank you for supporting our family. And thank you for making the last two and a half years something we will never forget.
Our last day is September 13th, and until then, we’ll be behind the counter doing what we’ve always done. Serving our community with a whole lot of love.
