Not all French crêpes are crêpes. 🇫🇷
Here’s something you may not know:
In traditional French cuisine, savory crêpes are actually galettes de sarrasin.
🥞 Crêpes are traditionally made with wheat flour and are most often enjoyed sweet.
🌾 Galettes are traditionally made with buckwheat flour and are the classic choice for savory fillings.
The buckwheat gives them a slightly nutty flavor and a deliciously rustic character — completely different from a sweet crêpe.
A true French tradition, especially from Brittany, and something you don’t see very often here in South Florida.
At Le Petit Parisian Café, discover our four savory galettes:
🌾 LA CROQUE — Ham & Cheese
🌾 LA POPEYE — Chicken & Spinach
🌾 L’OCEAN — Salmon, Cream & Lemon
🌾 LA FORÊT — Cheese, Bacon & Mushrooms
Come discover which one will be your favorite. 🇫🇷
