It’s here! I’m holding my cookbook in my own hands 💫

Seeing A Kitchen on Goose Cove: Recipes From the Heart of Maine as an actual book and being able to flip through it made everything feel so real. I’ve looked at these pages a thousand times, but holding it is a completely different thing. I’m excited. I’m proud. It feels like a milestone✨

I love that it’s coming out in May, because that’s the start of my season every year. The start of all the seasons. The smells of spring and halibut, then June and strawberries, then July and mackerel, August brings all the farm bounty. All of Maine is in here.

This book is for home cooks. I want you to cook from it. I want it to feel seasonal and not intimidating, even if you don’t live on the coast and seafood isn’t your comfort zone. And of course there are recipes for meat and poultry, vegetables that are bursting with flavor, and my favorite desserts.

FINALLY the announcement!!! I am thrilled to share my first cookbook — A Kitchen on Goose Cove: Recipes from the Heart of Maine, published by will be released May 19th! PREORDER online or wherever books are sold - local booksellers, too!

When I started working on the book more than three years ago, I had no idea - no idea about the time, the energy, the challenges, and the rewards. It’s been an incredible experience to bring to life the vision of my first cookbook. A Kitchen on Goose Cove is a reflection of me at my core: a chef at home. It’s my love affair with Maine. Inside you will find more than 75 recipes for traditional Maine dishes, and new spins on the classics: Lobster Rolls, Scallops with Wild Ramp Sauce, Mussel Chowder, Grilled Vegetables with Fish Caramel, Tomahawk Steaks with Chanterelles, and Whoopie Pies to name a few.

I'm so grateful to Peter Kaminsky for the support, guidance, and collaboration on this journey. Peter's experience and talent was indispensable, plus he takes extra credit for introducing me to William Hereford, an unbelievable photographer based in Uruguay who traveled to Maine not once, but three times to shoot the beautiful photos in this book. Together, the three of us formed an incredible team and lifelong friendships. A Kitchen on Goose Cove captures the feel and flavors of the heart of Maine, and I can’t wait to share more with you.
