This crew 🙏 From arriving in the darkness to grind, brew, prep, fire up the roasters….to pouring cup after cup, restocking shelves, handwriting notes on each web order, moving thousands of pounds of green coffee, roasting with accuracy, keeping track of inventory & ordering, to being local hosts and information sources, creating a joyful experience….we couldn’t do what we do without them. Cheers to this dream team who labors in the name of coffee!

Made with our washed Ethiopia 🇪🇹 Homacho Waeno Coop, the strength is medium with tasting notes of molasses and yellow cake 🍰 The uses are endless. On an airplane, just ask for hot water! Fan of iced coffee? Simply mix instant packet with 8-10 oz cold water, add ice, and enjoy! ⭐️ NEW COFFEES ⭐️ Fresh out of the Roaster is our newest Stonecutter Series coffee from Guji, Ethiopia. This Natural Processed coffee comes from the Dhaka Bor Banti Cooperative. Guji is rapidly gaining recognition within Ethiopia’s already world-renowned coffee landscape. This is the “it” coffee right now! We had this coffee last year and knew it needed to return this year.
Tasting Notes: Raspberries and cream, black tea
Roast Level: Light

Also the seasonal return of Laos CPC! There’s been some delays and we haven’t had this coffee since 2024 due to exporting challenges and tariffs, so we are excited to offer this beautiful SE Asian coffee again.
Tasting Notes: Toasted coconut and white chocolate s’more
Roast Level: Medium

THIS FRIDAY 8/21 💌 Frank Pitcher, local potter of Fish Creek Pottery will be here in the Deer Isle cafe 8/21, 8 am - 10 am with a bounty of mugs and gorgeous vessels for a good cause. 50% of all profit will be donated to the Larkin Bulger Fellowship Haystack School which assists Deer Isle residents to attend Haystack workshops. Come purchase a mug, fill it with a 44 brew, and remember our dear friend who always carried a smile.

Introducing the ▪️Iced Black Rosie Tea▪️a mix of Rosie tea (hibiscus, rosehip, and orange peel) and black tea. 🫖 🧊 🌺 🍊 🖤 Both teas made locally by Tempest in a Teapot Maine - We are so pumped for John Cariani’s play, directed by Kathryn Markey.
