The Coffee House at Richland Community College Welcome to The Coffee House at Richland Community College. The Coffee House at Richland Community College is a hands on lab for our culinary students.

It gives them hands on experience running a small coffee shop. This is one of the steps toward National Accreditation for our program.

We took to Chicago yesterday for Coffee Fest. We enjoyed lunch at Call Your Mother (Coffee House manager, Justin, previously worked at the DC location before joining us at RCC). We grabbed coffee at Dark Matter Coffee and explored the Starbucks Roastery. We ended the day with a delicious Italian dinner at Volare. ☕️ We always have the best time with the best crew ever!!!

We have decided to delay the reopening of Bistro Five Thirty Seven until Thursday, June 11. We struggled with the decision, but ultimately decided we needed more time to prepare to ensure we bring you the absolute best experience. The combination of staff absences and absolute heat exhaustion from this weekend’s food truck service at the boat races left us with little choice but to delay the reopening. Thank you all for the continued support of our restaurant and for the enthusiasm of our upcoming menu.

Marlowe started working as a barista in our new Coffee House space this year. They are studying EV/Hybrid Vehicle Technology and plan to graduate in 2027. Originally from Carson City, NV, they now reside in Mt. Zion.
