SaMi's Place has not only lost a wonderful employee but a very dear friend. Tamela “Tamale” Coffey gained her angel wings on March 20, 2025. Arrangements have not been made yet but we will share as soon as we can. Please remember Tamela’s family as well as her SaMi's family during this very difficult time. She will forever have a special place in our hearts. You may have left this world but you will never be forgotten. We love you “Tamale”!

UPDATE: SaMi’s Place has decided that it is in the best interest of our employees and patrons not to open today. We will look at the weather conditions in the morning and notify you as soon as possible concerning Saturday business hours.

Due to the winter weather event, SaMis will not be open this morning. Our intent is to attempt opening at 3pm based on the weather and road conditions. Please be safe if you are attempting to get out.

Two of our wait staff, Cristina and Juan, have suffered a great tragedy in the passing of their 17 yr old sibling. We ask that you remember them during this extremely difficult time. As posted in the link, SaMi’s Place will have a donation box at the restaurant if you feel led to help their family with arrangements. But most of all they covet your prayers, love, and support.
