Andy and Friends Coney Bar is owned by Eric & Keyara Schevenius. Everyone is welcome here!

Our coney bar was created by Missy Burkhalter to give Andy, her down syndrome brother, and his friends with special needs a sense of purpose and fulfillment in their lives through job opportunity. The goal of the Coney Bar was to not only give Andy and his friends a purpose, but also to raise awareness that every life is precious.

As of 10/7

With much thought & some hard decisions, we have decided to close Andy’s and move our coney dog operation to the Old 27!

This change is effective immediately and today was our last day serving you on the plaza. 🏁

We have loved serving you from the Madison Street Plaza, but it’s time to make the move to a location that we feel that we can better serve you.

Old 27, located at 168 S 2nd St., will be our new home, and we’re happy to focus on one location to best serve you! 🌭🍦

You might see our familiar faces for special events serving at Andy’s on the plaza, and we will always keep you updated!

Thank you endlessly for welcoming us and supporting us so much along the way. We hope to see you down the street & serve you! ❤️

The weeknights and weekends are getting busier for everyone, and we can feel it! Don’t forget to support local and support those small businesses who appreciate it more than you will ever know.

It’s really easy to hit the drive thru, pull ahead, and wait 20 minutes for your order. What makes a difference is ordering from your locally owned business, and know your hard earned money is going towards something greater.

Offering different eateries is what makes a town great! We love options and getting the food that just “hits the spot!”

Andy’s (and a lot of other businesses we frequent) loves to help where they can. Sponsoring a softball team, a free carnival, door prizes for benefits, our time (away from family) to put into community events, the list goes on. They’re always willing to help out in a way that works best for them.

THIS is what a small business does, and they need your support too! ❤️

Think local this week between ball games and practices, I’m sure all the small businesses would appreciate that! 😊
