Our Story

Established in 2002. A family owned business since 2002 ,my name is labib cheaito I started the first Albasha Subs with my cousin Hassan Kathoun Dearborn while I was a student of engineering at UMD. At the beginning it was a small sub shop known as a hangout place where young kids from high school,college and university gather all together .we where almost the only place that opens till 4:00 am on the weekend. with time we started building our reputation in the community around us and we became one of the top rated sandwich places in Dearborn . Weekends after partying , clubbing ,hanging out in the backyard smoking argyleh or just gathering in a friends house everyone has to stop by at Albasha Subs on Warren Ave after 2:00 am for a late snack and we would stay open till no one is walking in no more. with the expanding of the community toward Dearborn heights we opened our 2nd location on Ford Rd in 2009 and recently in October 2015 we opened our 3rd one at Wayne State University in downtown Detroit . Specialties Al-Basha has been serving subs and sandwiches to the surrounding community for more than 13 years now. Options for subs include chicken, steak, turkey, fish and shrimp, available on eight and twelve inch subs. middle eastern Sandwiches ( shawarma and falafel), hot dogs and one of the best burgers in town are also on the menu, as well as fries, wings ,chicken strips and a big variety of side orders
