New coffee incoming from Sumatra and Guatemala!
Sumatran coffee is known for its bold earthy/rustic tones, strong dark chocolate, and a toasted sugar/syrupy sweetness. Perfect for a dark roast.
Guatemalan is rich, chocolatey, and nutty, with a balancing caramelly sweetness to round out the cup. Best as a medium roast, but delicious light-dark.

Coffee from Burundi was a big hit at the last market and sold out so I got more while it’s still available.

Try some samples this Sunday at farmers market in the HyVee parking lot on Sunday. Go home with a bag!

I got in a new honey processed Castillo variety from El Salvador this week. Delicious! Very smooth, rich, and full bodied. Strong notes of bittersweet dark chocolate. A little bit earthy, a great toasted sugar/syrupy sweetness for balance, and a mild fruited note. A very welcome breakfast companion! Get it before it’s gone!

New beans from Chiapas, Mexico and Ethiopia coming this week! The Chiapas region of Mexico produces a very rich chocolatey and nutty cup, while the Ethiopian is very complex: fruity, chocolatey, bittersweet, with great body.

I can’t believe all the love and support I’ve received from the community. My roasting setup malfunctioned, cutting production in half. The next day, a kind and generous neighbor walking his dog stopped to say hi. We regularly stop and chat whenever he passes by while I’m out in the yard. I had mentioned my current woes. An hour later he stopped by after doing some research on roasters and insisted on helping me upgrade instead of repair/replace. When one door breaks, a better one opens right? Something like that. Introducing my new significantly improved roaster! So excited to play with my new toy. Expect EVEN BETTER coffee moving forward!

I’m back from vacation! What a nice break, but I’m glad to be back at it. Roasted and packaged my first online order!
NEW COFFEE INCOMING
Something bold and chocolatey from Brazil, something fruity from Burundi, something sweet and citrusy from Kenya, and a really special floral and fruity Gesha variety from Peru(I might accidentally drink all of this one)

I also have other great coffees from India, Peru, Ethiopia, Columbia, Rwanda, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
