Why “Coy’s”?
If you’ve lived in Sevier County very long, you probably remember the old Coy Wiles property—better known as “Coy’s” tire shop.
When we had the opportunity to purchase the property, we knew this place meant something to the community. It wasn’t just a building—it was part of local history.
We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Wiles’ daughter, Katie Sue, and her husband, Dennis Smiley, for trusting us with the property and allowing us to carry on the Coy’s name.
For us, “Coy’s” is about honoring the past while building something new for the future. Shelly's dad, Lester Overturf, worked for Coy’s in the mechanic’s area too. We are very proud of that.
As we work toward opening our family restaurant, our goal is to create a space where the community can come together—whether it’s for a meal, a game, or time with friends and family.
We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more with you soon.
